why does all clean water leak out as soon as I pour it in vacuum cleaner and soak my carpet ?

When all the clean water leaks out as soon as you pour it into the Hoover FH50150 vacuum cleaner and soaks your carpet, there are a few possible reasons for this issue. First, make sure that the Dirty Water Tank is securely in place. If it is not properly secured, it can cause poor or no suction, resulting in the water leaking out. Check if the Dirty Water Tank lid is securely in place and if the float and float retainer are not broken or dislodged. Another possible reason is that the Clean Water/Solution Tank may not be properly attached. Ensure that the Solution/Water Tank is securely placed on the unit. If the issue persists, it is recommended to check the Quick Spout Pour Cap. Ensure that it is properly plugged and rotated away from the drain hole to prevent any leakage.

@Gary Blair I had the same problem. It turned out that the pump was broken. Where the tubes connect to the pump, there are 4 screws that hold the gray tube part to the pump. 2 screws where they connect, the plastic was broken, so it did not make a seal, so it leaked. I bought another pump, no more leak.
